A Chartered Accountant turned businessman with a deep passion for long-distance running and marathons across the world. Over the years, he has participated in all major marathons across India, including the prestigious Procam Slam — and has represented his passion internationally at the Tokyo Marathon and the Istanbul Marathon.
The idea of Zoon Run was conceived alongside his close friend Tufail Anayat, a banker with J&K Bank, over a simple cup of coffee — discussing marathons they had run together across the country. That conversation became the foundation of what would later become the Zoon Run Festival of Baramulla.
The first edition was successfully organized in September 2025, receiving overwhelming appreciation from participants and supporters alike. Now we proudly announce the 2nd Edition — June 2026, expecting runners from across India to make it even bigger.
